Hey Dragons,
What should we call the new notes? Have an idea? Reply to the notes email and tell me what you think.
Hopefully, your first few days went well. I’m feeling really good about this year so lets all make it a great one! Lot’s of work? Yes. But lots of fun too..clubs, sports, dorm activities and don’t forget how interesting class can be. All of the HS teachers work hard to make class interesting for you!
Week at a glance:
8/16: Mugbook Photos for G9. You will all be escorted by your advisor. Half of advisories will go during study hall and the other half will go during academic support.
  • All new students in G10-12 will meet me on the HS side of the bridge to the elementary on Tuesday morning at 8:45am. Your teachers have been notified so just let them know that you are leaving.
8/17: Club Showcase: Freshmen and all new students go to PAC @ 8:20 for the Club Showcase. I will post the clubs that will be running, along with their sponsors below. If your club does not have a sponsor listed, you are responsible for finding one before the end of day Friday this week (8/19)
  • Up to two people may present during the showcase. Please make sure that your club’s slide is in order. If your club is running this year and you don’t see a slide for it, you’ll need to insert one at the end of the slide show. If you need to put a slide in for your club that is listed below please make one and share it with me.
  • Click here for the Club Showcase slide show.
8/18: All students will meet for an all school, mandatory meeting with Mr. Dines in the PAC at 3:45pm to learn about and discuss athletics.
8/19: Club Fair: All students interested in signing up for a club will go to the gym at 3:45pm. Two club student members will need to help work at your club’s table.

8/21: Sports begin; Clubs begin
8/23: Student Counsel assembly

Other Notes:
Just a reminder that HS students cannot go to the MS deli. MS students are not allowed in our deli either. Please do not go to the MS building unless you have an explicit invitation from a teacher there.
That’s it for this week. Have a great Monday!
